How we started...Curiosity and the love of nature sparked an interest in becoming a bee keeper. Passionate about gardening and learning of the decline of bees, I decided to engage in a journey of these remarkable tiny flying creatures. Environmentally good for us all. The medicinal benefits are numerous for vegetation and humans.
Not only is the honey great for you, but also the wax, pollen and propolis is found to be very beneficial. The bees provide so much for us, we believe it's important to be good to our environment to sustain quality of life. In fact, 80% of the pollination of the fruits, vegetables and seed crops in the U.S. is accomplished by honeybees. Approximately one-third of the food we eat is the result of honey bee pollination. Basically, no bees, no us!
Bee Fact: In their 6-8 week lifespan, a worker bee will fly the equivalent distance of one and a half times the circumference of the earth.
